Secretary Sebelius' Call to Action
On the first anniversary of President Obama’s signing of the Children’s Health Insurance Program Reauthorization Act (CHIPRA), Secretary of Health and Human Services, Kathleen Sebelius, called on leaders from the private and public sector to enhance their efforts to cover more uninsured children.
Secretary Sebelius established The Secretary’s Challenge: Connecting Kids to Coverage which is a five year campaign to build on the success of CHIPRA and Medicaid to enroll the final group of uninsured but eligible children.
